I was the lead engineer in charge of all research, design, testing, and validation for a new $3.8M international fiber enclosure product line launch taking designs all the way through launch phase.
This included:
- FEA Analysis
- Design and management of over 80 parts in Solidworks and PDM
- Cost estimation
- Detail component and assembly drawings following GD&T (ASME Y14.5 )
- Interface control documents
- Bill of materials management
- Tolerance stack up analysis
- Working with international manufacturing plants (Mexico) for Pilot Build
- Writing detailed test procedure and test report documentation following ISO 9001 standards
